Achieving 100 marks in Mathematics in 2018 Matriculation Examination, Htet Myet was awarded Pakkoku U Ohn Pe Foundation's Outstanding Student Award (1st Prize in Mathematics in the whole Myanmar).
Pakkoku U Ohn Pe Foundation's Award is one of the most renowned private literary awards in the country. In addition to national literary awards, outstanding student awards are also given to students who achieve top scores in each subject in Matriculation Examination. The award giving ceremony took place at Sarpay Beikman Building in Yangon on 16th September, 2018, and was attended by Information Union Minister Dr. Pe Myint.
